Elliott is in the Greene class of forward without the knobness...
For a moment I thought we had a 2nd druggie waiting to be sentenced. That was Murray, Murphy is the 18yo future gun.
Noun or adjective?.....Knobosity could workYou got the 'like' for promoting the noun 'knobness'
While I agree with you, they are not much use if they can't get on the park.
Seems to be working as a noun in this context.Noun or adjective?.....Knobosity could work
Langers clearly tried to rush the ball through anyway. Perhaps he tried to disguise it a little rather than overtly punching it through; maybe the ball deviated which wasn’t apparent on the only camera angle we got, but he tried to paddle it through before going to ground. It was a mistake in execution, which we were guilty of hundreds of times over on Saturday, as Tay and Treloar can attest.I'm still waiting for someone to name the player who doesn't make a mistake or a poor decision. I'm not sure why some expect our players to be immune to them or why they seem to think ours make more than the players at other teams.
On now.About to discuss Tom Langdon on trade radio.
Noun or adjective?.....Knobosity could work
Knobness (noun): the state of being an abject dickhead and worthy of derision.
The addition of the suffix 'ness' to many adjectives in English will render them nouns.
On this occasion, 'knobness' does not come from the adjective 'knobby' nor the verb to 'knob'. The word describes the state of being Toby Greene, a total knob.
See I heard that Tom wants to stay. It is just about the deal.Sounds like the contract is still not entirely acceptable. He may have had better offers.
Of course he’s had better offers!Sounds like the contract is still not entirely acceptable. He may have had better offers.
Maybe an abstract noun - can you say Greene is a "knobness"? You could say Greene displays qualities of knobness 24/7Seems to be working as a noun in this context.
Quite natural really - Cwood is a perpetual Shakespearean tragedy so only natural that we are inspired this master of the English language at this time of intense griefLoving the English lessons on BF this week. Who’d have thought we’d turn to language and grammar in our post GF grief?

It was a sad day when His Royal Knobness, Goddard was removed from his throne, he has left a void. You got the 'like' for promoting the noun 'knobness'
Murray unsure.Has Murphy resolved his issue with ASADA?
Unless he has, then we may as well consider him gone.

"Knobular" - having the characteristics of Toby GreenMaybe an abstract noun - can you say Greene is a "knobness"? You could say Greene displays qualities of knobness 24/7
Very good but still think it's more abstract noun or adjective than proper noun...."Knobular" - having the characteristics of Toby Green
This might surprise people but at this time of year players and their contracts are discussed between them and their clubs and other clubs.
The media reports on it and often adds some mayo on it.
Then on our board the positive looking posters feel nothing will happen;
The negative nellies feel the player is all but gone....
And at the end it all gets sorted out.
One way or other.
ps usually our players stay
