And we also forget many others like Shaw and Beams.
I completely forgot Shaw, he should definitely be in.

Aside from Beams' (imo shitty) conduct Beams is less of a Collingwood champion than Cloke and Maxwell in my opinion. Beams had 11 and 12 disposals in each of the Grand Finals of 2010. Sidebottom should be considered a Collingwood champion before Beams.

Beams has had 2 and half standout years with us. Not enough to call yourself a champion.

To me it looks like Langdon is constantly on Valium , so slow running and slow at getting rid of it. Super slow mo Langdon, like Pendles ......but gets caught out.

There are tonnes of players who never really get any better after their first few years.

Remember Sidebottom dominating Grand Finals as a 19 year old? He is still the same player all these years later

Same as Joel Selwood, Daniel Rich, Heppell ect.

Some kids peak early and stay there. More common than you think, especially for those with ready made AFL bodies.

It's hard to go up when you "dominate grand finals".

You're right the word is bandied about too frequently - Cloke and Maxy aren't champions either. Champions in my mind are players like Bucks, Daics, Rowdy, Pants, Pendles and Swanny. Dids is borderline.
I'd like to add Maxy back into the champ category (I think premiership captain should automatically qualify), as well as adding Jimmy Clement and Presti. Jimmy for his ability and class as a footballer, and Presti for his ability and class as a teammate.

Starting to think our kicking woes are due to players up the field not leading... Yes we have some horrendous kicks in the team but they often have to try and pull off hard kicks because no one in the team has got seperation or lead to the ball..

They are leading, it's just they have no space to lead to because our opposition have a far better gameplan and structure than us.

Cloke Fasolo and Moore all know how to lead to a high level.

Really impressive interview. He's always spoken well but he gave a good account of himself and good appraisal of the side at the moment. Saying the team is united but needs to bring a greater level of intensity is, hopefully, bang on. Let's hope it starts this Sunday.

Did it amuse anyone else that he kept saying they were 'copping slack' instead of copping flak?

Not quite Clokesque, but still gave me a chuckle.

Did not really notice but you know what he means.

Treloar has come face of the Club in the media thos season

Which is remarkable, given he is not even in the leadership group (yet?)

Not really how high Profile of the Move
I can understand the interest from the media but the amount of time he spends on media commitments and has become the face of Collingwood is a bit bewildering, given that we have a leadership group for that.

Might been part of his Contract;)

Chicken or the egg scenario.

But likely we need to improve dramatically at both aspects of the game.

Its the same when we kick in barely any movement from pie players.

I noticed and the interviewers just let is pass, which is a good thing.
He will have copped it back at the club for sure.

He really gives me the sh$ts. Reminds me a lot of Simon Buckley.. finds a lot of the ball then finds a lot of ways to F#ck everything up when he has it. (apologies for my cyber language)
