Disposal still quite sloppy & made a bad decision burning Sonny in front of goal but thought he grew another leg yesterday. Was impressed.

I think the disposal comment is harsh, he is generally a better user of the ball than most.

I don't mind him going for goal, showing he has some balls which is something we dearly need up front. I'm sick of players 2nd guessing and passing it off for it to be a turn over.

Lachie Neale was winning RG medals in 2014 and being listed in the best on grounds most weeks. I think it's a little premature to say Shero's reached those heights just yet. He's been comparable to maybe Lachie's 1st or 2nd season, IMO.

Certainly has not, but he is put into a position that is not his preferred. He isn't a defender.

Has been a great year for my buddy. He is surprisingly good 1 on 1 and I think he will make a great rebounding back flank.

Hopefully he will be a player like one of the Shaws with the ability to push into the midfield.

Apart from the two shocking clanger kicks, one that didn't even get off the ground (outside of auskick you don't see that), he was very good yesterday. I'm now starting to feel comfortable when the ball gets in his hands in a contest whereby last year and even early this year I was nervous, very nervous.

Loving his run and carry. His confidence has grown in leaps and bounds. He's only 21 yrs old so he still has lots of time to get even better.

He isn't a natural defender but holds his own in 1-on-1's. I think we could improve the team instantly by putting Sherro into Dan Pearce's spot and bringing Brady Grey in as a small defender.

Anyway good job Sherro :D

One of our better players yesterday and I've been really impressed with his season. He really has stepped up. Yeah there were a few clangers but the whole team was kicking clangers. I love the way he backs himself and he is quite evasive in traffic. Was that his first final? Well done to him if so.

Played as sub in 2013 vs geelong.

Agree for me it equalled his game in round 1 against Port.

Yesterday's effort was far superior to his game in round one. He got twice as many kicks and used it much better. In round one he was still very much learning where to run, and what to do when he got the ball. He's also added a harder edge to his game with 3 one percenters and 3 tackles. (In the post game he had 1 and 0 respectively.)

He has come a long way this year.

Yep, that one attack on the ball in the first quarter was a sliding doors moment for me, he went in knowing it was gonna be a hard collision and came off best.

I actually really liked "Tommy"s game.

He was pretty noticeable out there, I'm not sure exactly how many touches he got but he seemed to be sharking plenty of contests. Liked how he was running inside and leading a little bit outside, pretty nice kick on him and no nonsense choices by hand. Thought he really stood up and was a better performer. But hey, after the patronisation the staff gave him for 15/20 matches, he should be at this stage by now.
25 touches.. or just over 6 Subans.

He was one of our most prolific ball winners.

He had a really good game. Took it on too.
It just felt right when he had the ball, I had more confidence in him not putting someone in the shit with a pass than around a dozen other guys out there yesterday. He's developing well and will only continue to show us more as time goes by, should be considered a lock in the best 22 now. :thumbsu:

I've enjoyed his development, one of few in the team who can step and burn an opponent. Defensive efforts were good, halved a bunch of contests against bigger guys yesterday, and ran well also. Should have given to Walters though, he's only accurate when running straight at the goals.

He will eventually move into the midfield and will have a better defensive nouse because of the time spent down back. Doing a great job off halfback this year.

Yep I agree, playing well in a new role for him. Still think he's suited to wing/mid but adding half back to his skill set a huge bonus.
Development this year been amazing.

Crozier looked so far ahead of him last year, now it's completely flipped.

Been thrilled with his development. I used to think Tommy was a bit of the good athlete/dumb footballer type, always worried he would do a quick little dash out of a contest then handball sideways. Now I feel like good things are going to happen when he gets the ball in hand.

Very happy to be proven wrong.

Has become a player in our starting eighteen, Ross persisted with him, backed him in. Its a shame Ross didn't do the same with
Crozier, in a mid/high forward role.

Which players that might depart that crozier is competing for opportunities against?

We'll see come list management time after the finals. Yes the forward line looks stable which is his preferred position but in the next few years spits should open up for some of these younger players as the senior players retire or Freo make delisting.

As a forward, his only chance is probably Mayne and a really really really poor Ballas.

As a mid (IMO his best position), I think he will be competing against the likes of Sheridan, MDB, Suban and D Pearce.
