Hope the Cats play that "Friday" song next week to keep us up with the cool kids........

Lacked class and I'll be backing Brisbane in 7 weeks time, they will beat us.

Nothing less Kangarooish than a Cockgoblin in charge of the crepe paper.

I'm looking forward to NM supporters' reactions to a banner bearing the motif:

"One day the Kangaroos, nek minnit NM, see you in Tasmania"

Firstly: LOL.

Secondly, the bulk of the message (the bit about the Bears/Lions) was created by the club, not the cheer squad.

Unfortunately this story still has media legs. Club needs to fess up to who approved it, apologise and move on.

Bugger that, let it fizzle out. The media has run with a non-issue that only morons could interpret as such. Sadly the media caters to these morons (Poor form RoCo, much better than that, ironically got his tail up about the media coverage of *)

Biggest crime the CS have done in this is gone against the clubs request. Like LT Smash alluded to, CS needs a clip around the ears as they aren't above the law.

It'll get a minor run tonight. Probably in good call bad call, and probably 15 seconds in 360.

Then it will be over. Making something official out of something so bullshit would only fuel a soon to die fire.

Agree. Let's not chickengate this. No overreaction required.

The offending part is the club wording. To think a staffer wrote and gave the cheer squad those words is poor. Apology to Brisbane required.

Rubbish.

It would have been more hurtful what we did on field than some crass bullshit written in crape paper.

Turn it up. Enjoy burning your money.

It has media legs because we need to give the 2,000 journalists who cover AFL something to talk about.

It was clear the RIP Hafey line was unrelated to the rest of banner - clumsy in it's presentation, but nothing more.

The "Nek Minnut" comment was obviously very stupid, but again, not offensive (like plenty seem to be carrying on about).

Time to move on.
