It's been a pleasure Toots. I've always enjoyed your postings and photographic work on bigfooy (especially the Max Basheer car park!). It was great fun ganging up against crowies with you on bay 13 back in the days when it wasn't the monotonous bs it is now.

Toots you're not some name online but genuinely an asset to the football club we love (not Manchester United). People like you inspire young people like me to follow what we're all here for with pride and passion and to teach and understand our way. I hope you get to enjoy many more Port wins and everything you loved in life for as long as you want. Prayers go out to you.

Sat a few rows behind me and a was a really nice guy. I was worried not to see him around lately. Pretty sad stuff.
 
I never know what to say at these times, it is such an unbelievably tough thing to go through but it sounds like Toots has an amazing attitude towards it and no doubt that is helping.

Always important to remember there's a human behind the avatar.
 
I've known Toots only for a short time but it feels like i've known him forever. We've joked, had digs at each others and had a few good laughs. We saw Toots the other night at the Power Information night and now just reading this here, feel sorry i didn't chat with him.

Toot's all the best. Marina and myself are thinking of you and your family in these hard times. Hopefully we catch up soon for a chat and a good laugh, but for now i say, have fun, enjoy what you do and live it up mate!
 
Toots, you are truly a legend of this place and i wish you all the very very best and strength in your battle. I have never met you but have really enjoyed 'going into battle' on the bay alongside of you and our PM's (where you are the only person on bigfooty who knows my identity;)).

Really sorry to hear this news. I've never met you but always enjoyed your work. Your strength in the face of this terrible thing and your sheer will to get up and do the things you've wanted to do with loved ones around you is just inspiring. Stay strong and all the best to you and your family.
 
Terrible news. Keep fighting Toots. We had our differences of opinion, but that's what this board is about and you made it a better place. Hopefully you'll be around long enough to make it a better place again a few more times :)
