Would it be too bold MODS to suggest the renaming of the Port Board MVP award "The Toots Hibbert Port Adelaide Est. 1870 Big Footy MVP"?

I think it would be great if Toots was around to see the first few winners (at least) of an award named in his honour.

A more widely respected and loved poster would be hard to find.

Also there are more than a few who are touched by this thing and to them I wish every strength and success in dealing with it.
 
Best of luck Toots. I can say with no doubt that you are the poster whom I most respect on these boards, and that from what I can tell you really seem like an absolute gentleman.

I really don't know what else to say... so I guess I'll just say this.

My thoughts go out to you Toots and your loved ones. You are great Port man Toots and stay strong in the true Port Adelaide tradition.
 
Terrible news Toots, have enjoyed reading your postings over the years, and will always remember the Carparkistan thread.

Lost my mother to Cancer a few years ago, and it truly is a f*cked up thing to see people suffer through.

You will be in my thoughts, and hoping for a miracle.
 
Very sad to hear this Toots. My best mate lost dad to cancer on Tuesday morning, so I've seen first hand this week what it can do to a family.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for you and your work on this forum Toots, you've been one of the best posters on here since I joined. Thinking of you and your family. Stay strong and keep living an awesome life.

Toots, I've always loved your work and the Bay isn't the same without you. Stay strong, enjoy the people and things you love and never have any regrets ... then again, if you do get the odd regret just convince yourself that "you were right at the time".
