Seriously.

Comparing our squad to potentially the greatest team in AFL history reeks of unwarranted arrogance, the like of which i've never seen before.

Our 2 best players, Swallow & Wells are 24 and 27.

They really aren't going to improve that much.

All those guys above peaked around 24-25 - so bottom line is - be patient the potential is there. Swallow is elite - what age is he again??? oh thats right hes 24....

We have one elite player. And it isn't Andrew Swallow.

Ablett played forward pocket for about three years...none of those guys walked in an became superstars from game 1.
There is no guarantee any of our players will develop along that some path, or that we will become a powerhouse like Geelong, but we have given ourselves a chance and now we need to watch it play out. I reckon it will be 2015 before we know.

Well look at Brisbane......we beat them in the prelim in 96, it took them another 5 yrs b4 they reached their ultimate goal. Keep it in perspective .

The love for Pearce is truly baffling. Old Shinboners would be gutted if this coward pulled on the blue and white stripes.

He couldn't handle a player saying he screwed his mum... That was the most feeble and disgraceful reaction from any player I have ever seen. He is putrid and the softest player I've seen since (Will Sierakowski today).
