Pies/Brissie had 50-60K last weekend.
Collingwood dont pull those numbers in a bad seasons. That game against Brisbane, their season was still alive before Sundays results.

We just haven't seen Collingwood in the bottom 6 enough to talk about it.
But last time they were was in 2016/17
They pulled:
17k vs Gold Coast
20k Vs Freo
28k vs Port
23k vs West Coast

It's an absolute myth that the big victorian clubs (like Collingwood) always get massive crowds even when they're down. I wish someone in the media would bring actuals facts like this this into it cos it's just misinformation at this point.
Every club has their bandwagons.

That being said, I do think Collingwood crowds have been great this year

The longer Melbourne resist the winds of change the longer they put off dipping. Right now they're going to time it perfectly to get stiffed by Tasmania entry concessions.

I think this is a mix of Petracca trying to leverage his untradeable contract into getting change in the hierarchy above him (particularly the coach) but also the envy any player would feel when Melbourne is pulling sub 20,000 crowds on winter Saturday nights at the MCG while the big clubs play in front of 50 thousand even in a bad season.
When do big clubs play in front of 50,000 in a bad season? When they are playing another big club, usually in a marquee game, then yea it can draw that. But the average game in a bad season is not going to draw that. “Big” clubs attendances get inflated so much by having multiple double ups vs teams from the same stadium.

I would like someone to explain what deal gets Trac out of Dees.
Some saying he’ll terminate his contract due to medical negligence. So how does that work? Become a free agent? Trade? Draft ?
Sounds like something a club with no currency would try make happen. If the AFL allowed it then may as well get rid of draft, trades, the lot.

Playing at Etihad weekly how would you know? I’ve been to plenty of games when we have been bottoming out and we still get a crowd that would fill that shithole.

Over 60,000 for a dead rubber in freezing conditions, no one left before the time out, I’m in the 5th row next to the cheer squad, and didn’t budge til the players left, and straight back in our seats when they came out again.

Richmond over the years have always had a crowd in lean times too, the bombers through the dark times showed up, the blues can be a bit down!

1. Watching my team play their home games at one stadium does not mean I am ignorant of the larger football world. Crowd information is available to everyone. It is also no longer called Etihad.

2. You have taken the comment so personally and assumed I am directly and only talking about Collingwood, while also disregarding facts, that I feel no need to give a serious and detailed reply.

Dodoro has locked himself in his office at Windy (Phwoar) Hill and has apparently offered Mark Bolton and a 2nd round pick but wants a future 3rd rounder back as well.

I'm literally just going to repost what I posted on this same pages before.
