F**k that s**t. Was happy to take the big money when it was on offer, and would not be complaining if he'd suffered an horrific broken leg or the like that left his playing future in doubt.

Well the other part that is doing internet rounds (so I have no idea if true) is that they got up Petracca for going to Noosa during his rehab, accusing him of not being entirely professional with his rehab…

And you think that wouldn’t maybe irk him considering the treatment given to Clayton Oliver?

This isn’t having different rules for the 40th player on the list barely eeking out a spot v the best player which always is going to happen. It’s the best player who is always professional v the 2nd best player who loves his partying…it would piss me off too.

And if Goodwin and co are participating in said partying - for them to all turn around and tell Trac he’s unprofessional for having some time off during a long injury lay off would definitely fire him up.

Again, no idea if true, but makes a lot more sense than just being angry because the doctors didn’t pick up a spleen injury immediately during a game.

Trac to dogs is gaining more traction
Trac has declared he wants to go to a powerhouse club in Melbourne and play in front of big crowds. No disrespect but that rules out the Dogs

Yeah because one knob said it and the other knobs in the media just repeat it
Sam McClure has written a piece in tomorrow’s Age saying Harry McKay for Trac. It may need Blues to throw in steak knives, but the swap solves 2 problems, Demons lack of a genuine tall forward and Blues being absolutely invincible in the midfield.

Yeah not sure how the Blues could afford Trac unless they shed some SC weight

That said .....

Who really knows what is happening, but everyone coming out saying oh McKay from Carlton for Petracca, or mentioning other teams trading players for Petracca. How would you convince a player getting senior time at a big Melbourne club (if that is where Petracca wants to go) to go to Melbourne? As Browny said to Gary Lyon tonight on the couch what about all the rumours around culture at the club (Gary doesn't really address it just says they should go hard on Petracca), I mean it appears Houston from Port pulled out of going to Melbourne. It appears to me from the Smith incident earlier this year, Oliver issues and then the handling of the Petracca injury it would be hard to convince an established star at a big club like a McKay that they would be better off going to Melbourne.

"May need to throw in steak knives" hahahah

To take on that dud for a top 5 player in the league under a long term contract Carlton would need to produce Honjo Masamune
