AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
One of the more bizarre games I've seen. Not often a team kicks 14 goals in the first half of a final, and still end up losing by over 10 goalsRemember the glorious 1st half of the final against the Cats we were ahead and Danny kicked 6 or so. Went downhill after halftime but wasnt Dannys fault.
Yep and it was our first final for a number of years and I got out of my death bed courtesy of some bad Red Rooster chicken and felt even worse at the end of the game! One of the more bizarre games I've seen. Wallace will be rating our list on trade radio soon if anyone wants a giggle.
Surely behind the scenes we're having a nibble at Super McPherson's kid at the Suns.
Perfect type we need - high pressure small forward who doesn't get injured - touch wood - and tackles the proverbial out of the opposition.
It's always been blown up that way, but the reality is that it was always pure BS. Yes he may have less wear and tear on the body. But 30 is 30. Some people can play at a good level well into forties. But that is fairly rare, comes down to how you look after yourself, genetics and mostly luck.So much for Keath being able to play until he's 40 because he started AFL so late and professional cricket puts no strain on the human body.

Usually takes awhile for the first then after that the dominos start to fall. But geez it's been a boring few daysThe football world waits with baited breath for the first trade... and it’ll probably be Joe Blow from any club other than GCS, who’s yet to play a game, traded for GCS pick 94. Seven days later, the first meaningful trade will break the damn wall. Meanwhile we all sit here at the AFL’s pleasure, waiting for something, anything, to wake us from this stupor. At least we’ve got BF....
I heard that the Betts deal has been done last night. So probably waiting on lodging paperwork and announcementThe football world waits with baited breath for the first trade... and it’ll probably be Joe Blow from any club other than GCS, who’s yet to play a game, traded for GCS pick 94. But isn't that the point? That the Dogs and the Saints completely independent of each other where daily could be 3 different opinions like you say, agree?I know nothing about the Keath injury situation, but I will say that it’s not that unusual for medicos (even from the same team) to have differing opinions on:
A) exactly what an injury is, and
B) how to treat it.
So I’m not throwing Adelaide under the bus over the Keath stuff.
Mmm as in trading out of it because it’s not great or trying get into it due our NGAs?Recent Chris Grant interview on Dogs site just overviews the first day
Not much is mentioned apart from the club is keeping a strong eye on the talent pool of 2020 and 2021 draft which will likely impact this trade period
dont fu** up power dont fu** up power dont fu** up power etc
Any chance we get Toby McLean in a straight swap for Josh Bruce or is that wishful thinking?
Think McLean would change our midfield dynamic considerably.
Cheers for the reply.Wishful thinking but deserves more midfield minutes
