I'm sorry, but what bargaining position did you think we had to begin with? If we traded him the pick we'd receive would likely be passed in the draft, such is how low it would be.

So he’s going to be delisted and his contract paid out and that information is freely available but the club is holding out hope another team that knows he’s a soon to be delisted alleged whatever it is he’s alleged to be trades us a fifth rounder that we won’t use to take on the contract that we’re intending to rip up and pay out instead of picking him up on a bargain basement contract as a free agent?

You are a hard man to please. If I could list a handful of dream kpd options for our list, Collins would be on it.

I guess I haven't seen him play enough.

I really like the idea of taking a couple of first round selections to the draft though.

I don't really rate Collins I think he will get found out in our defense. GC would want a lot for him too

I find it very hard to believe Collins would want to come to us.

Suns gave him a chance when no other club would. Countless times he has spoken of his love for the club and wanting to repay them. Certainly plays like a bloke who loves his club.

Combine that with Bevo questioning the legitimacy of his defending when we played them this year. Doubting we would be his club of choice on the off chance he did want to come home..

We could've got Collins as a DFA after he was let go by Fremantle.

I don’t think we could have. I remember being keen as, but the talk was a lot of other clubs were too.

I’m fairly certain they were able to get him as part of another concession, so other clubs had no chance.

Collins turns 29 next and would cost us our future 1st at a minimum given his contract

I would only consider Tomlinson IF we are getting a significant pick upgrade to be included with him.

Really someone we do not need. I would rather use the draft pick we will probably spend on him, on a developing KPP.

Tomlinson isn't great, but Cordy played 15 games for us this year. He's nothing amazing but he's a clear upgrade.

If we're bringing him in I would hope we're trying to move on O'Brien

Tomlinson isn't that good. We're better off getting a VFL defender.

He has better skills than any key defender in our side, has a massive tank and would cover more ground than any key defender in our side, has great height and size, would be the best intercept mark in our team currently, and comes form one of the strongest defensive systems in the comp. Would instantly improve our 2022 side.

Which VFL defender would you bring in if preferred over Tomlinson?

Agreed, but I don't think my hair will survive another season with our 2022 defence.

Can we salary dump or just dump on the Dees in return and give them Cordy and O'Brien?
