English and Darcy sharing ruck - fwd for the next 5 years is pretty awesome.

If only we didn't have a salary cap.
The dogs can't afford to pay Timmy on a potential million a year, and he may not be the best ruck in our club.
Timmy is also the 3rd to 4th optionin the fwd line behind Marra/Darcy/Astro/Flea.

That will take Hawthorn not being in the competition since they seem to go for anyone the dogs show any interest in. Someone else pointed that out recently as well

I think they Cottoned On to the fact they don’t need a mid as much as a key back for what he would cost and who they are competing against

If Hawks get Barrass. It will leave them with no first round pick. And Geelongs pick will likely be in the late teens. Given they were the only two teams linked properly to Smith. Collingwood have no first round pick either. Cannot see how a deal gets done that will satisfy us tbh.
