Today the Suns accepted pick 10 and a second rounder

Okay good to see the Suns have rolled over, must have taken lessons from St Kilda & its we wont trade pick 5

But they traded thier 2017 1st so they can't trade their 2017 2nd??? Unless they wrote the AFL the aforementioned really polite and nice gold embossed letter to allow them to break the rules (which were in place so a team couldn't trade out of 2 drafts in a row - exactly this scenario). I think we should write a really nice letter to allow Andy McGrath to walk into the PSD. I mean it's a against the rules and all.. but.. this is the AFL.

Yeah, they let Geelong do it so they were always going to let their golden children do it.

Soomethings fishy though. GC's press release stated they got a future second rounder from Freo as part of the deal, but the trade page is stating that they traded a 2nd round this year for it. Looks for all intents and purposes that Cochrane shit the bed and folded.

Originally I saw Pick 10 (2016) and pair of 2nd round 2017 picks which is a good deal for GCS
