It all seems hypocritical now that we got Saad but maybe the AFL needs to look at a return home penalty for players. Something like there being a 10 per cent loading on their pay in terms of calculating their new club's salary cap. If players genuinely want to return home for family, mental health etc that's fine they can but then they should be prepared to take what would result in a lower pay.

We can, it's only in the even that we trade our future first (which isn't gonna happen) that would mean we can't trade that future 2nd.
