I still don't think we need Stringer.

We've got a couple of young potential forwards in Laverde and possibly Francis as well as an already functioning forwardline. I'd rather leave Stringer for now and give those young guys a go.

If we decide we need him at the end of next year, we'll get him for next to nothing if he stays at the dogs this year.

If we get him, we might as well trade Laverde and/or Francis.

We've got Smith and Saad, we'll be improved on last year in terms of our list and with our guys (including the new ones) starting to hit their peak age, things are tracking quite nicely. We don't need the distraction of Stringer, stick to the existing core group.
