Just had a look though, he has kicked 2 goals or more in 26 games which is what you want from a contributor. The Suns would rate him higher though. Im not selling a high commodity for someone who will simply play a role when we could get it for cheaper (pick wise) in Jenkins.

Even when he had support, he has never dominated. That's the tough question to answer. For me the Suns would want a top 20 pick for him.

We'd be wanting a 40+ goal a season forward for that price. Something he has never done at AFL level (best 31, then 27)

Midfield still lacks a clearance bull. Possibly pick Hibberd and/or the bloke im starting to soften on in SPP. Howard im definitely keen on, although i think he should be in the 22 from rnd 1. Hooker should play forward all year in my opinion.

I think most things are on point except a few notes.

- We aren't getting Howard AND a 2nd without giving back something in return. If we send a future 3rd back then that is probably close.
- Trent Rivers isn't lasting to pick 31. Sam Philip is probably a better pick around that mark, or Thomson Dow who are also midfielders

Trade Fantasia for SPP + swap of seconds (29 for 37).

On trade Port's second for Bonar (academy points will do them well).

Kelly deal likely to get done tomorrow. If papley drops we need to move. We still need a ruck, KPF and a mid.

Why can’t we just hit the draft,
I’d be stoked if we end up with 5,9 and 10, and at least 1 second rounder, along with some later picks.

Hit the draft, get the three best players available regardless of position. And continue to build a strong list.

I honestly think Tom Jok, Brayden Ham, and BZT will be in our best 22 come the end of the season.
I’d love to see the debuts of Mosquito and Draper, they both have star qualities.

Add in 3 top 10 draft picks. That’s the direction I want us to take.

Instead of trying to take shortcuts, let’s build something.

I’d like to see Younan rookie listed from the VFL,
If we are going to bring anyone in, it needs to be for later picks. Jenkins could play a role, and be recruited for a late pick.

I think Kemp can be better than Wright and Martin.
I don't really rate Wright tbh. Has only ever kicked above 3 goals once. He's still young, but I don't see him as a suitable replacement for Daniher.
Martin is meh. Doesn't really address a need.

Both Wright and Martin have been dropped multiple times this year, apparently for laziness. I prefer to take the pick to the draft.

Wright was drafted as a ruckman. There's a high quality player there.

You guys seriously have no clue about footy,

It’s the role he would play, making contests inside our forward 50, not getting outmarked, if not marking it then halving the contest bringing other players into the game, tbh it’s something Mckernan, has started to bring into his game. But does not do it enough. We don’t have a power key forward on our list, he helps fill that gap on our list in the short time, whilst we either develop someone, or identify a target that is not there atm,
If we get 2-3 years out of him. That’s a great result.

He's average two goals a games or more in the last 6 seasons. Way more than any of our players.

Definitely worth a look.
