No doubt but It can be done fairly comfortably especially under elite training procedures. It would be dangerous with his foot now. I'm not sure where that's at?

All the kids add considerable weight coming into the AFL system. Kennedy no exception. I remember watching Heppell year one on Anzac Day and I'm pretty sure his quads were bigger there than are now

Let's just say I wouldn't be eating celery in my salads if I was him.

Like Heppell is a seriously shredded physique it's great for an outside player or inside/outside but I feel he has to become a big body mid or Stringer and someone else brought into the club has to.

I can’t recall anyone putting on that amount of muscle that late in a career and it being anything other than a disaster.

If anything you’d look at stripping weight off him and doing a summer of sprint training, for his longevity and for his on field effectiveness.

Kennedy is not in the normal range of weight gain. Jobe was the same. They're playing at about 100kgs.

There would be no way in this world id let him go for pick 40. So he'd be staying on for a year for me then.

Port and crows will offer 29/30 we will want atleast 20 otherwise he stays would be my guess
Won’t get anything better next year when he’s a free agent. Unless he has an injury free year and kicks 30+ - which is highly unlikely with his soft tissue history.

I was so pissed when we lost Houli. Every time he played he'd get 90%+ kicking efficiency and then knights would drop him.
He's too old for our rebuilding list, but if getting him for two years means Saad stays it's worth it.
We could use some more leaders with his level of maturity and professionalism

I am the opposite. I would take pick 40. If he goes into another season and gets injured again he will be getting picked up as a delisted free agent.

Young teammate Brayden Ham has not re-signed and is also attracting interest from clubs looking for run and skills. He was the club’s third most improved player this year after best and fairest Ridley and Zerk-Thatcher.

Im gonna call bullshit on Ham attracting interest from 'clubs'

Is Merrett's silence deafening? If he has no plans to leave, would be nice of him to make a comment about it, even if it's his own Twitter or the like.. the Club could do with some support from our own at this time..

Thats the other option.

Put him to a wing or half back especially the latter if Saad is gone.

Then we'd need a big body mid like Brodie for sure

Wow seems you have a few on board the same idea aswell.

I certainly wouldn't not in this draft. I'd take the risk he plays a decent year and is worth a pick 15-20 the following year.

I highly doubt Fantasia is delisted by us the following year but I could be wrong.

His stats of the past 4 years basically measure up to the best small forwards in the comp. Just hasn't been on the park enough

He’s under contract, why come out? Does Shiel need to come out and say he plans to stay too?

Jon Ralph on AFL tonight gave an update on EFC which I though was interesting

- Houli unlikely. Very happy at Richmond.
- Saad legitimately hasn’t made his mind up at all. Would like more clarity on his role at EFC. But really isn’t leaning either way.
- If Fantasia passes the medical in SA, he’s gone. But it’s Essendon that’s closed the door on him. We’re pushing him out apparently.

The big issue. Has been on the park less and less.

Doesn't 'have' to, but it shows some faith and takes the heat off the team he currently plays for. Shut some of these reporters up at least.. speculation is fine, but if I were in the same position, I would back my club and say something..

You start talking with every made up story and opinion these days you’ll get no time to yourself. I’d say nothing.

Is Jaidyn Stephenson any chance of being prized out of pies? Pies need to dump salary and he’s having average year but I think he can turn that around with a solid pre season.

3 way trade for Fantasia with minor tweaks of trade terms/sweetener?

Seriously the Saad shit is management posturing knowing there could be a big pay day there with JoeD, Fanta, TBC, McKenna all gone. Taking advantage of a vulnerable situation. Hold strong. Offer him his worth don't go crazy

Why do players need to comment everytime a journo floats a rumour. No wonder players like to go overseas and turn their phones off for 6 weeks.
