#7 - Lalor
#8 - langford / Travaglia
You won't get Lalor at pick 7. Too early for the other two.

Luke Trainor is the grandson of champion 1000-goalkicker Doug Wade and the nephew of AFL Commissioner Gabrielle Trainor.

196cm and finds it’s 26 times. This kid has superstar written all over him. Forget the first championship game. This kid is a legitimate number 1 pick potential.
He's an intercept defender who takes kick-ins.

20m is not bad for an inside mid
Dude. It's bad for a ruckman.

Jonty Faull kicked another 3 yesterday. Has 11 from 3 games now.
Sam Lalor had 34 touches 8 marks 5 tackles
Josh Murphy kicked 6 for Murray.
This is not a boast-post, but it’s hard not to bring my son into it, because he played on Jonty the whole game…So I watched it closely…He kept him to 3 first half goals and did well…But Jonty is a super talent…Kicked one from 60 off one step…Soft hands…Plays exactly like Will McLachlan (Falcons) who got mid-seasoned to Brisbane…Josh Murphy is a prodigious talent, and should go top 20…

3 seems to be the minimum he kicks each week so no shame in that.

I'm surprised you haven't locked onto Cooper Hynes yet. Now that's a beast of a player. 😁

Had 23 & 5 against Suns academy but could have had 7 (tripped inside 50 and teammate took advantage and took a contested mark in goal square played on and ran into an open point Malcolm Blight style lol)
Hynes looks really impressive, kicks goals, wins midfield clearances, already 191cm.
Be good to see Hynes, Lalor and Langford rotating through the midfield for Vic Country.

He's a monster. Looks 25 🤔

Wonder why he's not playing for VC yet.

He did too. My bad.
I can’t find any stats, but he did ok from memory, played a bit forward/ mid had high teen possessions ( someone will probably make a liar of me).
This from foxfooty in May re Hynes

“Hynes, at this stage, looms as a polarising prospect. One recruiter told foxfooty.com.au he was a first-round prospect, while two others said they needed to see more evidence before considering putting him that high on draft boards.”

Maybe his tank, but he’s building his case

How do we get both Lalor and FOS/Jagga?
Trade next years first and hope we don't go as bad as I'm expecting or lose a Bolton type and package the picks up.

Had 19.

Need to re-watch. I've been gradually putting a ranking together and have him in the low 20s but don't really remember seeing him that game which isn't a great sign. 😆

Big couple of games for VC and a good Combine results could see him climb into R1 contention.
Think guys with his size and forward ability ( Stringer, Zurharr etc) are always in demand. Even if there is some?? on endurance etc.. they are game changers, don’t always need huge numbers to have an influence

Yeah that's why I've got him where I do. Could be a match winner. If he's super slow though then he will just end up a gun vfl player.

Been waiting for someone to stand up and make me feel less disappointed that we miss out on FOS if we don't finish last and Lalor has arrived. So far a lot of good prospects but many lacking attributes to stand out from the pack which FOS definitely has and Lalor while more vanilla has enough that I could live with him as a consolation prize.

Trade our future first and go hard in this draft, I don't want to lose senior players but if its going to happen in any draft then let it be this one.

Who is your fave of the guys you'd consider ranked over 30?

Hmm I wanna keep it close to my chest for now, I’ll give you one name. Zak Johnson.

There’s a lot of talk on Sam Lalor, he’s in my top 5 for now. I do expect he will be regarded as a name we consider at Pick 1 or 2. Bloke is an absolute beast.
