Scrolling through Instagram, didn't realize I still followed Ryan Clarke

A quick look through his posts and hang on who the bloody hell is this

He's actually absolutely f***ing everywhere

Joel Crocker’s end of season footy trips are like a Contiki Tour he spends one day with one group of friends and then moves on to another.

How man

There is a distinct possibility that CT may have had a run and not post in on social media.
Crazy, I know.
Nah, if you don't post it on instagram then it never happened.

If I was a player I would be getting up at 5am and posting a picture of the hotel treadmill saying "2024 premiership starts here" or something cheesy. Then I'd go back to bed to sleep off my hangover. This place would love it.

I think CT knows where he is at - and that is not AFL level

And CT would outrun most in the afl

Would be curious to hear what CT is like with his gym work because it sounds like even Stevo has started to take this side of things seriously.
I watched the training match at Arden St against Richmond, spending much of the time next to the North dugout, specifically for the 5th and subsequent quarters.

Two players stood out, which I mentioned at the time; Phoenix Spicer who was being given constant advice from the dugout and Curtis Taylor who was leaning on his knees and heaving after every run. I wondered at the time if he might have had COVID or was just in recovery.

Funnily enough when I mentioned it here there were responses indicating that he had almost the biggest tank of any player at the club. That didn't pass the eye test.

Personally, I think that Taylor is capable, but he has to work his butt of to keep his place in the side.

Was walking through North Melbourne back to North melbourne station and ended up ducking through arden street, i saw Liam Shiels and Daniel Cross doing shuttle runs. This was the Tuesday after our last game, talk about setting standards.

His GPS numbers on the AFL app are excellent. Our 2 best endurance runners each game are generally Curtis and Bailey Scott.

I get the feeling that Curtis is too focused on hitting his GPS numbers and he becomes so fatigued during a game that his basic skills deteriorate

He looked like a very skilled young footballer when he first came into the side a few years ago, but now he regularly drops easy marks, misses easy goals and fumbles far more than he should.

Don't people go to Rosebud or Echuca anymore?
Not only that but I wonder how many are taking note/have an interest in what is happening trade and draft wise back here.

At this stage we should be having 8 new legitimate first 22 players young and ready to go Round 1.

This won't impact the Larkey and LDU types but it certainly will make it a good deal more competitive for the likes of CT, Archer, Comben, PC and CZ.

Anyway - looks like they are having a great time.

I hear young George Wardlaw is solo camping in the remote Nullarbor town of Cook, South Australia.
He runs 500 laps of the ghost town a day.
For dinner he’s eating lizards he caught with his bare hands, with a side of wedge tail eagle eggs & cooked on a fire he made by yelling at two sticks. With nothing but the night stars for a blanket & a train track sleeper for his pillow.

I’d put Crocker on the VFL list purely for morale and organising the footy trip.

The kid can still play footy too, had a couple of games this year where he had 45+ disposals in the local leagues
I slammed dunked on my four year old this morning, but it doesn’t mean I should be playing NBL.

…Actually, 36ers are pretty shit right now.

To be fair on Crocker Jnr, he got delisted a season too early imo. He was showing plenty in the VFL, then he had a few seasons destroyed by Covid.
