One of my sons is at training, sending through a few reports.Wardlaw running laps, hope there's nothing untoward there. LMac back in full training. Doing some match sim but there's a few doing laps in the pool (Logue, Scott and Greenwood at least). Colby's pace a standout. Says they seem to be practicing a certain kick whereby Sausage goes very long to Larkey in the square ,worked well. I'll see if he sends anything else through.

You'd certainly like to be a forward on the end of George's boot.

He was playing golf with PC a few weeks ago, was on Insta. I’ve also personally seen him at the gym with Bailey Scott as early as late last year.

Whatshisname used to hangout with PC and Perez. And only them, from memory. Undeniable that neither of the two are/were in the thick of things socially.

Tarryn has been friendly with a couple of others at the club though, despite the apparent lack of catch-ups, so maybe he deserves an iota more credit in that respect

From an attacking perspective I like the combination of Goater, George and McKercher down back with the 3 best talls.

All lighting fast. All can kick. Good size range. Great athletes.

Whether they are liabilities defending is another question...

You need at least one lockdown type, and I don't know if any of those blokes have that skillset. Prelim finalists last year had Idun, Maynard, Starcevich, Saad (who's a very underrated defender). Who was our last bloke in that ilk? Archer Snr? Marley Williams doesn't count
