Hamish Free is a ******* giant. Bloke has biceps wider than Kaynes head. If he doesn't make it it won't be because he's not up to scratch physically. Training tops look like the Bulldogs from a distance but are schmick up close.

Rehab group (I think) now sports Howe, Logue, Wardlaw and Spicer amongst others. Certainly going through a different warmup to everyone else. Two sets of players - one in yellow tops, one in blue. Powell, Phillips Greenwood Taylor Turner CCJ Bonar Lazzaro McKay all in blue

Would assume thisll happen eventually. They've broken into groups doing some drills now. Goater, Perez Bonar, McDonald, McKay and Arch doing defensive spoil/clearance drills. Goaters agility is ridiculous, Perez's change of speed isn't half bad either, he just hits the gas and zooms

This is being replicated by the yellows- seems to be a huge focus on run and carry out of the backline. Perez Goater Archer are basically all looking to run and carry as a primary option out of deep D50

Sadly Will has played 16 games. Had he played less than 10, he'd be my early favourite for the Rising Star

Interesting that Paul Curtis is being tried in the middle. Kingy was always carrying on that he wasn't playing as a pure small forward. Maybe Clarko sees that he's not a traditional small forward, but I don't know what his exact role would be though. Guess we'll have to wait for the season to start.

Blue is the first choice defence essentially, on a first choice forward line.

Blues in the back line = McKay, LMAC, Goater

Yellow = Larkey, Zurhaar, Sheezel. Curtis is starting in the center square but pushing forward.

Simpkin and Cunners, Curtis, Shiels are in yellow midfield.

Will, Greenwood, Powell in the blue midfield.

I haven’t seen Wardlaw out there or running laps.

Been impressed with

Curtis - looks to have found another level. A beautiful mover in and out of traffic. Sat on someone's head in the first few minutes of the game

Drury - composed, clean and calm. Has made a few rookie errors including getting sucked in to the play which let Kayno sit out the back and get an easy one from Will. But overall he makes good decisions and is pretty assured for an 18yo

Cunners - a couple of vintage handballs opening up the play through the middle. Hit Zurhaar with a beauty, who then failed to hit the runner. Cunners baked the shit out of him. Is resting fwd for the yellows - so strong and took a contested mark against Bonar then converted

CCJ, Free and Edwards are the key talls for blue.

Dawson is taking CCJ.
