I wouldn't be so sure of that... I share a couple of mutual friends with Treloar and they say he's all about playing in a good, young, rising midfield. He can come into our midfield at a similar stage players like Adams and Crisp are at and be in the square with them across his whole career. I also truly believe that Pendles 'coaching' him a few years back has not been forgotten by Treloar. Having said that I'm sure the money helps sway his decision.Treloar is moving for the money.. it's as simple as that.
We're offering an extra 100k more than Richmond, that won't change

I just really hope the Pies don't mess this up and get a trade worked out. This guy is an absolute gun and I have no doubt in my mind he would be much more regarded if he played in Melbourne instead of stuck at GWS winning spoons all these years.
That's right NT he wants in on the 2016 Piledriver award comp.
Might challenge magpie girl but I'm tipping her to go back to back.
The GWS midfield smacks ours completely out of the park when it comes to good young rising midfield.
Not so much anymore!

And pigs might fly out of my arse.
GWS BF posters reckon they don't need another ruckman.
Their CEO disagrees...
"Hopefully during this trade and draft period we'll be able to address an area that proved to be a little bit deficient in terms of a big-bodied ruckman to be able to fill the void when Mumford goes down."

He did say "mature ruckman" but yeah, if they need back up for Mummy then Witts makes more sense than Minson. Will be sad to see him go but overall absolutely a fair price and someone we can afford to lose with the sub rule out and Cox emergingSo they're basically signalling to Collingwood that Witts needs to be part of the Treloar trade. Which most of us assumed anyway. With the sub rule gone, 2 ruckmen will never happen again. So carrying Witts, Grandy AND Cox as true ruckmen alongside Moore, White and potentially Kreuzer as pinch hitters is just lunacy.
Yeah, it's cool to have depth in areas, but sometimes it can be to the detriment of your list overall. For example, we need WAY more depth at our book ends.
That's the thing with these threads across BF - what supporters think and what the club knows are 2 vastly different things. We can throw 800 pages of trade scenarios around but unless you know the inside dealings of each club it's all speculative obviously.GWS BF posters reckon they don't need another ruckman.

Pick 7 + Witts +3rd round pick (if GWS need the points) for Treloar Hampton and Finlayson
Replace Gault with Finlayson as our developing KPF, Hampton to replace Seedsmen.
The only reason Kreuzer is an above average player is his ability to act as another midfielder after the ruck contest.
I don't see how Grundy and Krezuer will be any more effective than Witts and Grundy. Vickery would be a much better fit, kicks twice as many goals as Kreuzer and his body isn't close to falling apart
Pretty much confirms Witts will be a part of the deal. No wonder we're so interested in Kreuzer.GWS BF posters reckon they don't need another ruckman.

Surely one of our esteemed posters is Dekka Hine. Surely! That's the thing with these threads across BF - what supporters think and what the club knows are 2 vastly different things. I like the way they look at the Mumford situation - "When" Mummy goes down.
I'm sure we'll work a trade out.
Why does Picketts name keep coming up? Are we linked with him at all?Package deal to get Pickett as well?
