And GWS history. Get the club who you acquired the player from to pay part of their salary rather then kick in extra trade assets. I.e. Griffin & Shaw.
Picks 7 & 62 (4th round) & Witts + we pay some of his salary for 2016, say, $150k like we did for Shaw, for Treloar.
What GWS get:
Pick 7 (1644) equals pick 4 (2,034 - 20% = 1628 points) on an academy kid. Jacob Hopper is expected to go around pick 5. So they get him with our pick. They use their own pick 8. They can than acquire Matt Kennedy from a pick 10 bid ( 1,395 - 20% = 1116 points) with their 2nd & 3rd round picks 28 (677 points) & 46 (331 points) and we throw in our 4th rounder pick 62 (123 points). 677 + 331 + 123 = 1131.
****ing deal.
GWS get Witts, Hopper (using pick our 7), Draftee (using their pick 8), Kennedy (using their 2nd & 3rd round picks and our 4th round pick)
They've used their 3 picks they have to use. It's a shallow draft.
We lose Witts (and a little cap space), pick 7 & pick 62 for Treloar
What is this points shit? Is that something new this year? Any links on how it works?
