I dont really care about Richmond to be honest. They have a perfect right to keep plugging away until the last minute. We expect Treloar to end up at Collingwood and will be pissed off if that doesnt happen...regardless of where he ends up.

To be honest, I don't know where Richmond even appeared in all of this. Surely Adam's manager was trolling them to get Adam and GWS a better deal right?
I mean, I never even heard Richmond's name in all this until the last couple of weeks. Barrett went with Collingwood and GWS as far back as April. So I have no idea where Richmond came from. I can only assume the manager was being a smart arse to get the better deal.

Richmond will linger around like a bad smell in the hope GWS will baulk at any deal we offer that doesn't equate to what they are willing to offer.

I remember last year on trade radio they asked Hine if he thought Greenwood would choose Collingwood, he said "Yes, but I thought Mitch Clark would as well....".
The thing was, when we missed out on a player who gave us every indication he would play for us did we carry on about it like babies? No, we worked it to our favour and went and got Travis Varcoe in the Clark deal. Win-win.
Just move on Tigers, it's over.

I have no idea either. I suspect it's just the after effects of the loss on the Sunday. They know Treloar is a player that would suit their list, they believe that they're a better destination than Collingwood (as you'd expect) combined with the old school rivalry factor.
If I'm going to do my best to put myself in Adam's shoes, let's see what I can come up with.
So, to humour me, let's believe that Richmond and Collingwood have both offered 750K over 6 years. So the money factor is no longer an issue.

Yeah, you could argue there's a bit of bias in the above (along with a cheeky troll) but at the very least, the first four aren't exactly inaccurate. Now, if the rumours are true that we've also made a bigger money offer, then I have no clue how anyone associated with Richmond believes they're in this with a shot.
They don't even have picks anywhere near as good as ours to offer up.
Let's assume for one second that this is all a big "ruse" by Richmond to drive his price up and force Collingwood to use more to get him (which technically is impossible if Adam has specifically nominated Collingwood), who the hell cares? It's widely accepted that this is a shit draft so if you're going to abandon picks for GUNS, then this is the draft to do it.
