If Carlton except a second for Yarran you will be happy with just one first rounder then.If Richmond give up anything more than a second for Chris Yarran, they're in some serious trouble.

He's uncontracted. You're right, he nominated you guys.
And now the onus is on you to make that trade attractive for us.
No one we've wanted to keep, anyway. It's Ok mate....you're not used to losing players yet and you're just a bit sensitive. Here's Hiney's number......call him and he'll explain it all to you.....lol
So you think Treloar and Yarran are equal players? If Carlton except a second for Yarran you will be happy with just one first rounder then.
He's uncontracted.
Let's not pretend like there's no attraction in making sure that GWS gets a trade done - He walks for nothing if GWS don't accept a trade offer with a team that Treloar agrees to sign with. GWS is actually the only party in this scenario that actually could end up losing something for nothing - Collingwood could keep their picks and Treloar could move back to Melbourne (albeit for a club he would rather not play for) without GWS getting any compensation.
So Collingwood want to get the deal done, GWS want to get the best value they can for the player, and Treloar wants to get to Collingwood... There's no way this deal doesn't get done, and because every party has equal interest in the deal being done.
Last year, we saw the likes of Beams, Ryder, Christensen, Boyd and Griffen all force their way to their clubs of choice against their previous clubs' wishes, and I believe all of those players were contracted at the time, which theoretically put their previous clubs in a stronger position than GWS is right now, so the squabbling about hard line stances and threats that we won't get our man seem rather toothless at this point.
Wow! It's like talking to brick wallSo you think Treloar and Yarran are equal players?
Lay off the Slivovitz so early brother.

No one we've wanted to keep, anyway.
And one we could've if we upped out offer.
But we've got a whole fleet of Ferraris in the garage coming off contract the next couple of years, we had to set a precedent.
And it was nice to give something back to the club that has given the competition so much in recent years.
Happy to help
I don't think there's much doubt he will be wearing black and white next year. The general consensus seems to be 2 first rounders, possibly with a swap of late picks or some small steak knives coming Collingwoods way at the end. To say that 2 firsts is unders because Richmond will pay 2 firsts and Griffiths is dumb, Richmond are irrelevant in the equation until things go bad with Coll/GWS. GWS asking much more than 2 firsts is unrealistic given what they need and recent trading history.
One more time...5 minutes ago you said that wouldn't be enough. Sorry to dash your hopes but I think you'll be very lucky to get that, think more a 1st, 2nd and a player like Beams, then you'll probably have to give us another player.
So you think Treloar and Yarran are equal players?
Lay off the Slivovitz so early brother.
Do you think beams and Treloar are equal players??I think your 2 first rounders over 2 years is unders for Treloar.
Your first rounder next year isn't greed, that is still a bargain for you.
Hampton getting us Adelaide's second rounder this year and next would be greed.
One more time...
We don't want or have any use for players on your list outside of your untouchables.
Picks.
That is all that is required.
Didn't Eddie get a Ferrari given to him for his birthday last year?See....there you go....good luck with those ferraris mate....last time I looked the GF's played at the MCG....and ferraris sorta don't like the crash and bash style of aussie racing (any starting at Bathurst??) They're very pretty though those Ferraris...suit a NSW prettyboy
Nope. Treloar is better.Do you think beams and Treloar are equal players??
He's not better he has the potential to be better but his not there yetNope. Treloar is better.
Beams is very good.
Treloar is better.
That would be a great win for us.
Not sure what we actually lose in that instance?
The precedent would be set when it came time to negotiate any other players wanting to go back to Victoria.

No he's not.Nope. Treloar is better.
Beams is very good.
Treloar is better.
If Treloar was drafted to the system that Beams was drafted to...He's not better he has the potential to be better but his not there yet
Hampton and Bugg are not Ferraris.I agree inamedthgiants........I believe it will be two first rounders but we get one of your unwanted Ferraris also.
The kid is a jet that cannot be argued.
IMO the deal has already been done.
That's only your oppion, treloar hasn't won a BF or been all Australian etc etc yet so that's yet to be proven. I don't no why you always want to win the trade on a bigfooty board it makes me laugh how hard you tryto win on your oppions. I'll be you ok but a magpies poster to win the trade eg, Witts, pick 19 and pick 25 for Treloar that's sounds about right as we are coming out on topNope. Treloar is better.
Beams is very good.
Treloar is better.
Hampton and Bugg are not Ferraris.
Hmapton's lucky to have 4 wheels.
It's important to remember we trading of future picks this year which we didn't have last year which alters values. I guarantee you had future draft picks been available we would have gotten two first rounders (which would have ended up pick 2 this year) for Beams and whatever draft pick we sent with him, however it wasn't so we got what we could based on the Lions available collateral (which worked equally well IMO as it netted us Crisp and facilitated the Greenwood trade on top of pick 5).Two first rounders is overs for mine.
Keep in mind what Beams fetched last season.
A first and second round selection is more than fair for a player who is yet to join the elite category.
I'd be very surprised if we parted with two first rounders.
