I'm not sure why everyone is worried. Hine will get the job done. As he has said himself once you make an offer that a player accepts, it is your resonsibility to make it happen. And he will. If it takes two 1st Round picks, so be it.

Probably have to trade a player for the extra pick. Like Geelong did when they bought Ottens in. 2 First round picks. Their own plus the pick they got for trading Moloney. Our first plus Witts would do it if we can find a home for Witts imo.

There is no doubt Treloar is one of those young proven guns that you don't often get the opportunity to trade for. Obviously with all the first round talent GWS has picked up, something needs to give. I'm prepared for us given the first pick in each of the next 2 drafts. I'm sure we will get a player thrown in as well, and it is not as if the player thrown in would be ordinary. I also have full confidence in Hine's ability to pick great 'steak knives' that may well also become an important player for us.

Treloar is out of contract. I do feel sorry for them when a contracted player like McCarthy wants out. We experienced it last year. Players need to understand a contract is a contract. I think if u want to break your contract, you need to pay a penalty to your club (50% of your remaining contract?). In business there are often penalties, so these kids need a life lesson.

I think your 2 first rounders over 2 years is unders for Treloar.

Your first rounder next year isn't greed, that is still a bargain for you.

Hampton getting us Adelaide's second rounder this year and next would be greed.

Nobody has ever commanded 2 first round draft picks so are you saying Treloar is the best player of all time? 2 first rounders will be plenty enough and if it's not we'll throw in Seedsman as steak knives. I'm sure Hiney will get the job done (again) and that GWS will be happy with what they get (Heath Shaw goes alright doesn't he?).
