+ immortalised in Collingwood folklore by that kick to Jamie Elliott.
As opposed to Poulter and that kick 30m in the wrong direction…

+ immortalised in Collingwood folklore by that kick to Jamie Elliott.
Actually, he put it the perfect spot considering there were 2 essendon players around Elliot
It was an elite kick that only required Jamie to basically hold his ground enough to nudge the player out of the way. Great kickI still remember thinking when the ball was in the air how it was the perfect spot to kick it because we'd be getting a throw in. Then the shock when I realised that Jamie had marked it.
Poulter won't play 50 gamesGood on Bianco, hope it works well for him.
Sullivan and Lipinski and they would have Poulter and Bianco.
Each club getting what they need. Worked well for both clubs.
Sullivan is much better equipped for a 50-100 game career than Bianco, in my opinion. Trenna is just too slow for mePoulter won't play 50 games
Jury out on Sullivan wwouldn't be surprised if has a sam dwyer type afl carrier .
Bianco think he gets picked up and has decent 50 to 70 afl game career

They would be drilled to go the boundry line because of the chance that it might OOB if not marked. A kick to checkers would have come with the risk of the ball being turned over. But I could be wrong though. Either way it was a great kickIn hindsight it was the right decision but the easier option would've been Checkers on the lead kicking from just outside 50. He kicked to a two on one and 9 times out of 10 that ball gets spoiled.
Checkers was leading away from Bianco into the path of an Essendon player, it would have been cut off.In hindsight it was the right decision but the easier option would've been Checkers on the lead kicking from just outside 50. He kicked to a two on one and 9 times out of 10 that ball gets spoiled.
There was no decision to make. Kicking it to Elliot in the last minutes of the game was clearly a team rule. Pendlebury did it twice (v Carlton and v Port) and Trent was just following the rule.In hindsight it was the right decision but the easier option would've been Checkers on the lead kicking from just outside 50. He kicked to a two on one and 9 times out of 10 that ball gets spoiled.
