The fines have to be from the same offence 3 times in order for him to cop a suspension according to AFL rules. If it is a different offence, then the suspension won't apply.

This hit is not the same as his other two offences.

IMO Cotchin is gone.
It wasn't a snipe or dirty act as others have alluded to, more so just the wrong decision in the spilt moment that caused the head high contact.
The AFL have been pretty consistent over the last few year , you make the choice to bump and its head contact, then your gone.

Grand final week rules. It's got enough wiggle room to say incidental contact whilst going for the ball. Doubt the MRP will have the balls to actually back up the rules and rub out the captain. It's a 50/50 call. He was bending over and going for the ball but he does clearly contact his head.

Honestly the Zak jones one looked worse but the outcome was minimal no concussion.

Outcome is only a factor in length of suspension when guilt has been proven -

not whether an act was reasonable or unreasonable

Wrong...Dangerfield had the ball. Sloane needed to tackle or corral Danger. He went into survival mode and took PD high.

Danger picked the ball up a half a stride before Sloane got there. You could see he was trying to pull up to some degree and put his hands up to try and block Danger from handballing over his head, very difficult in the time and space afforded him. He just didn't have time to get his hands up properly before Paddy hit him. I have no problem with that one.
