I can absolutely, 100% guarantee you that if that was the Lions and any of Michael Voss, Jon Brown or Simon Black were captain, they would absolutely ensure they were ON FIELD and IN THE ACTION when the game was in the balance, in the last minute, not screaming at their players from the bench.

B. Any captain who screams at his players from the bench demanding they come off so he can bignote himself back on the field, is not a bloke who should be captain. Reeks, reeks, REEKS of the Jack Riewoldt "look at me, you can't see me, I'm crawling up the race" rubbish from a couple of years ago.

Surprised more likely, your season was really no more than ordinary even with the nice draw and unlike Richmond you were a long way from most of the top sides.

Percentage tells the real story of our two teams seasons and really that is all we have to go on as far as next year is concerned.

Go look at pre-season predictions for those years and then look were we ended up, if anything we have done better than what people thought.

Just looked at it and it was actually 13 and then 11 the next year. So yeah, we have gone through a way more drastic rebuilding faze than you and we have become better quicker.
