This could be 2/2, we just need Rantall to come on and we can pretty much say the 2019 draft has turned out okay, especially given we only had late picks.

Looking solid at VFL level, accumulating good numbers, just doesn't seem to have a feature to his game that makes him stand out among the rest. At a minimum, I think he could be a good average footballer at senior level if given the midfield opportunity.

Interesting he moved out from a pure mid the past few vfl games to a high half forward. Either playing him in the position he would come into the AFL team in or he is out the door and giving centre square minutes to the others. Time will tell.

On what he has shown over the last couple of games Ruscoe looks settled as a defender and will only improve.

I think so too, but with De Goey, Daicos x 2, Tay, Reef, Macrae, and even more lining up for midfield run he may struggle to get the chance

Love his aggression, and has versatility. Not going to be a lockdown defender (probably), but has the attributes to match up widely

He has what we have been crying out for for years . . .
The vision to spot the attacking option and the courage to back himself to spot it up.

Watching him play down back has me so bullish on him, it’s amazing how poor he was as a forward earlier this year.
