There is no money spent taking it to the tribunal. Its $5k if you take it to the appeals board. What fee the QC charges is another thing.Don't waste the money challenging it.

So has the AFL admitted, without admitting, that the umpires made a mistake?
reward Jonas with a HTB free, only to suspend him later…. Well played VFL, well played.
This is the first time I've seen this action properly. How was he not suspended for this. It's hideous.

summed up perfectly

I'm fairly sure I been in conflict situations including confrontations involving assault rifles and being out numbered in unarmed combat. I appreciate you should never underestimate a conflict situation but that doesn't mean reasonable force goes out the window. When you were over powered by a 40kg lady, what happened? You had to step back? Readjust your angle? Get help? Wait?
There is no way I would have used a taser to bring down a lady with this description. Even kicking her walking frame out from under her would have been reckless.
A nice heavy quilt would have been perfect. Even a wet quilt. Heavy enough to render her immobile and soft and cushy to break her inevitable fall.
Even engaging her so you have her undivided attention and walking her into a safe place, is more logical as she will not only tire but probably clam down in the fresh air.

If the club doesn’t challenge this, then we stand to let VFL s**t all over us whenever they feel like it.
Did that sniper Van Rooyen cop anything for his punch on Finlayson?

So that's that then.
Agreed. That’s weak.pathetic from the footy club.
Van Rooyon was also very "clumsy" several other times with spoils and contests
I can see why the MRO looked at the spoil the week prior closely
I have seen a reverse angle shot from the opposite side to where the umpire was. The tackle looked very dangerous from there. Can understand why this charge was accepted. I’ll see if I can find it. Twitter maybe.pathetic from the footy club.
