Yeah, if they knew the result they wouldn't be taking any money on doja. The fact that bookies and punters all missed saving up at number 3 shows no one outside of triple j knew the actual result. And also g flip was only mildly backed.

Would think Charlie XCX and 360/365 are a high probability for No.1 this year based off of absolutely nothing. I think it will be another big year for TikTok/Instagram hits, which cry as you might, is where people are consuming way more content these days, and even if the song only has a good 40 second snip, it will be recogniseable.

Personally, I welcome less influence of the 'actual' Triple J crowd on the Hottest 100.

I don't even know what that song is. But agree, great year for music, lots of good options.

My shortlist in the votes was about 30 this year, last year I struggled to get to 10.
