Saturday Rub is fine at the moment but it certainly misses Bill’s humour, particularly when he runs the quiz.

He offers very, very little genuine insight. When a "joke" doesn't land the first time, he yells it again. As an analyst, he isn't. Really not sure what he offers.

Really rate his work, reckon he’ll be a great commentator for years to come. Enjoy him the same way I enjoyed Wayne Schwass.

It’s gotten to the point where I’d rather the Thursday crew replaced the Friday huddle now that we’re losing Thurs footy. It’s still a bit different from the usual mmm style but much more enjoyable imo, and Isaac has been a great find.

Triple M sent a team down to Launceston for the Hawthorn GWS game today but they haven't arrived at the ground yet so the Saturday Rub team are having to call the game off the screen from the studio.

When I tuned in during the third quarter, the call team in Launceston had just been told their flight home was cancelled.

They have uploaded 1min 20secs of it to the Triple M Footy Instagram. It was honestly gold. Felt like Triple M of old with just how relaxed the team were and not taking themselves seriously.
I'd love it if they did that every Saturday, having JB, Bill and Damo commentate and talk rubbish during the Saturday afternoon game, but I doubt it would ever happen.
