I need to play Disco Elysium again. Apparently the Final Cut version has four new quests that are linked to your political affinity - communism, fascism, moralism or ultra liberalism.

Was playing Cyberpunk 2077 - bought it for $30. That’s about all it’s worth. But I did enjoy it for the most part.

Not a bad book either.

Going to see Saturday, looking forward to seeing if it hits the rare double of a good movie AND a good adaptation.

Taking my 15yo for his birthday to see it on Friday.

I was gifted the book for my 15th birthday and I don't think I've ever devoured a book so quickly as that one, and the next two.
Had a huge impact on the types of books I read for the next twenty years.

I was a huge Asimov and Clarke fan at that age, didn't read the Dune books until I was in my twenties (I was put off the books by the movie, though I liked the movie). Glad I did as I was able to understand the context better. Fantastic books.

I'd read other scifi/fantasy stuff but nothing as epic as Dune though.
I was lucky enough to have read the book before Lynch had made his movie.

The Lynch movie kind of tarred the whole franchise in my mind, which I realise isn't fair. Should I read the book or see the new fillum first?
