Besides, I don't want to. I don't want to repaint and buy new stuff. I was raised in girls stuff by a mum that was desperately wanting to play little girls after birthing two boys, and I turned out... yeah maybe I should impose those gender roles on second thoughts.

To an extent. Jim Carrey basically refused any publicity for Kick Ass 2 after he realised it was a... Violent film with guns.

Not sure how that doesn't get picked up reading a script, learning about his character, or even being aware of the first film, or at any point at all during filming, but yes, strange but he refused to promote it.

From memory it wasn’t that he suddenly realised it was a film with guns, I think before it came out there was a horrific school shooting that made him rethink the violence of that film.

Between signing onto a film and it being released theres often several years or more. Lots can happen in that time, in this case it was school shootings, probably heaps of them in America’s case.

Was just going to ask about this. The train in the video I saw didn't look at all like your descriptions of the real Gawler line. Was convinced it was a fake.
