Have a guy at work who grew up in SA. Now based in WA, was a Mapgies supporter through his family.

Every now and then he’ll bring up that incident the Jonas/Gaff.

“Who’s that Port player, what’s his name that knocked out Gaff. He’s a thug” I always say it wasn’t even that bad, there have been far worse. Gaff’s for instance. He should be in jail.

Last week he mentions he apparently changed allegiances to WCE, only after that Jonas incident . So then I asked him ‘why haven’t you chosen another team when Gaff knocked out Brayshaw.’

He mumbles some incoherent words, turns a bit red. Has avoided speaking to me since.

Bloody hell

Missus was telling me an old mate from work and footy passed away last night, I brushed it off as surely I would have heard if that was true, she must be mistaken. Now someone in the footy group on facebook just confirmed.

Not good news at all, and I have to apologise to the other half for doubting her.
