So, I'm actually going ahead with this lol. Signed a build contract recently, and settled on a block of land on Wednesday. Build selections meeting next Wednesday.
Update on this: builder goes to site on Tuesday!

It’s been an adventure: fiancé was on a career break (on income protection) due to some health issues, and was due to return in April. Employer tells her 3 days out from her return date that she doesn’t have a job (despite assurances otherwise), so she had to find something else before we could get the build loan approved. A couple of months later: she’s on $15K more at another organisation for the same role, I’ve received a pay rise in the new financial year (always do), and after a lot of discussion and documentation with Bank SA regarding the change of employer, role similarity, etc, the loan is formally approved and the build is happening!

Famous people suck they generally have enough money to end world starvation now, give me the rock god era where Jimbo, Jimi & Janis lived out of a suitcase and cheap motels.. sure they were fleeced by crooks in suits but far better people, these morons can't even do debauchery right.

Pretty modest I doubt he ever saw more than 50k in his life at one time.

The dude spent most of his time living in the crapiest motel in LA close to the Doors office/rehearsal space, funnily enough handing out 50 dollar bills & clothes to kids and bums never made it to Oliver Stone's depiction.

Not quite the public holiday we were hoping for from the Matildas, but oh well, Bondy continues to deliver for Wessstern Australians...
