Banter - TRTT Part 13: 2021 Goodbye (To 2022)
It’s been an adventure: fiancé was on a career break (on income protection) due to some health issues, and was due to return in April. Employer tells her 3 days out from her return date that she doesn’t have a job (despite assurances otherwise), so she had to find something else before we could get the build loan approved. A couple of months later: she’s on $15K more at another organisation for the same role, I’ve received a pay rise in the new financial year (always do), and after a lot of discussion and documentation with Bank SA regarding the change of employer, role similarity, etc, the loan is formally approved and the build is happening!

So, I'm actually going ahead with this lol. Signed a build contract recently, and settled on a block of land on Wednesday. Build selections meeting next Wednesday.
