Watched THE APPRENTICE last night after reading about the difficulties they had releasing it in the US so close to the election.

Wont learn a whole lot new about Trump but Roy Cohn is an interesting character.

Overall very enjoyable, especially the first half. Reminds me a bit of a Safdie film (Uncut Gems) with the momentum that continually builds.

Worth a watch

It's really a very odd game. The writing is...interesting.

There is a part where a character compliments another characters hands, then they have lesbian monster sex.

Then there is another part where your character complains about seeing themselves in the mirror and feeling like they are another gender and the other NPCs give you gender reaffirming advice. It's just too much.

It's been a massive commercial flop. Topped out at 80k players and is now hovering around 30k which is less than Skyrim. Horrendous result for a 200m+ game with a 10 year dev cycle.

Maybe the AFL could learn a thing or two from the VRC stewards - let players defer their suspensions! Jamie Kah got a 10 meeting suspension after being done for careless riding on Saturday, but they're letting her ride today in The Race That Stops A Nation™:


After her Derby triumph, Kah learnt she had been suspended for 10 meetings for careless riding on Kuroyanagi in The TAB Vanity. It immediately sparked concerns over her participation in the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday, but stewards decided the ban would commence on Tuesday night, leaving her free to ride Okita Soushi in the race that stops a nation.

Jockeys can normally defer suspensions and take them at a time of their choosing, unless they occur in Melbourne Cup week. The Derby is part of Cup week, meaning Kah must take her suspension immediately and can't defer it. It appears very lucky that stewards decided the ban will commence on Tuesday night after the Melbourne Cup, although that decision was probably made due to the incident not being overly serious.

Oh I have, it was horrible.

But it's strange how the game is ignorant of the fact it has already been totally inclusive in the past. It's like Jennifer Lawrence saying she was the first female to star in an action film.

It's this kinda shit that makes people complain about being woke.

Was a plus one at a Melbourne Cup shadow event at Morphetville one year. All these tossers (including me) dressed up pretending we were at Flemington.

Have f-all interest or knowledge of horse racing but the beer goggles and the need to impress the person who invited me made me think I was Kerry Packer and lost the root and a wad of cash accordingly.

Never understood the hype about this BS race and hate it with a passion.
