I think the bit you might be mistaken on is Fox Footy being at all the games. I recall last year that there was a bit of controversy because one of the showdown medal voters last year was a fox footy commentator who wasn’t at the game. I could be misremembering or totally wrong but I’m pretty sure they’d be at every Vic game, but interstate games could be hit or miss with only the boundary rider actually there sometimes.

I like it, I hope they do what they do in the footy and make the colours match the uniforms.

Test matches. White background and coloured writing
I prefer the one they used Thursday as this one makes the score graphic seem huge when it’s actually not.

And I do think that they are kind of matching the team kits since why else would they use this shade of blue with NZ & also not use Yellow with Aus

Finally they have the over overview graphic, which is the main is the main piece of info I really missed compared to every other broadcaster's cricket graphics.

Also follows the ICC graphics of putting the current score in large in the front and centre with the current batters and bowler to the left and right, which arguably makes more sense than the way it's done by every other broadcaster as it gives more prominence to the most important information.

I know it wont happen but channel 7 should have done what TV networks do for the super bowl and launch there new graphics (I assume they will change up there graphics) since games will be on 7+ from now on

I reckon you might be on to something regarding 7+ being the time to do some new graphics (no surprise that also coincides with a new broadcast deal) but yeah won’t happen today obviously.
That being said I feel like there’s been a gradual change to the graphics almost every year since a few years into their tenure as the sole FTA broadcaster. Helps keep some consistency and familiarity when watching the footy. Even the big change of going from team names to team logos was smoothed over by having a patch with both logos and team names. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s only a minor change next year.

Expecting graphics similar to the cricket
