I want to hate frank so ****ing bad but I just can't. I don't know how they such a pathetic excuse of a man so likeable.

River is a 10/10 series on Netflix. English crime show man they do it so well. Schizophrenic detective it's an incredible series. Up there with Fargo season 1 which is my all time fave crime series

Not enough of these shows around at the moment. Sitcoms don't have to be crap, and good comedy doesn't have to be worthy and depressing.
 
Started on the second season of The Expanse. Top quality hard sci-fi. Writers (including novelist) obviously have a love for Kim Stanley Robinson’s Mars Trilogy. So good.
 
Just finished 4th season of Person of Interest and 2 episodes in final 5th season.

Two episodes into Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Head still spinning from end of Twin Peaks which is not really a tv series. It is orbiting out there as something else.

Couple of episodes into the Handmaid's Tale after watching the movie of it first.


With football season over can watch this amount of shows which normally do not have time for.

Sure there will be plenty of action, just hope the show doesn't get too bogged down with the suspense and cover up CIA/FBI type stuff. They need to nail the pacing and story. Also, side note, loving Metallica in the trailer, perfect song choice.

Looking forward to Punisher. From what I've read, they never had any plans for a punisher spin off, but after he was pretty much the best thing about season 2 of Daredevil they decided to give it the go ahead.

In fact I'm not even sure whether I approve or disapprove. It was okay, I guess. Some bits were really good, but I thought the 80s homage shtick grated after a while.

I loved it. There was only one episode that was a bit boring but it was pivotal for character development. Like that they start shooting before the whole season is written so it gives them more options to see which characters have great chemistry so they adapt as the season goes on.
 
Anyone watching Star Trek Discovery? Very much enjoying it and it is nice to have a weekly date with Trek, my wife and now my youngest daughter. Last night's episode was the best yet and most of the characters are evolving nicely. Suffers from the prequel problem and will be interesting to see if they tie up some of the many loose strings they have left around.

I'll admit to being a Stargate fan over Trek so all these references are lost on me in Discovery but it's been enjoyable enough so far. One reference being whoever Dwight is playing.

Just watching the latest ep now -
but I do love a good time loop episode, let's see how it goes

Yeah thought so as well, saying that it was pretty cool to hear that Runaway's track.
 
Loving the new season of curb your enthusiasm after being put off by the first episode. This season has been as good as most of the seasons. Not as good as The Producers season though.

Electric Dreams has been underwhelming. Interesting but not as mentally stimulating as some of his movies.

Stranger Things 2 was satisfying.

Enjoying The Good Place. Silly. But fun.

This season of Broad City has been a bit of a let down as well sompared to season 3.
