Gone back to season 1 of Justified to introduce it to my girlfriend. Such good fun the dialogue and characters.
 
Just watched the first episode of The Ozarks. Do the characters all stay so unlikeable? It seems a bit breaking bad without the black humour.

Its a good show i liked it.
It is well worth watching and it keeps getting better.

Never found Jason Bateman that likable in any shows he's been in but there are definitely some more interesting characters that get introduced as the show goes along. Once they move to the Ozarks it starts to get pretty good as they get more involved with the locals.

I like the setting in the Ozarks, has a True Detective season 1 feel to some of the characters.

I think he plays the part really well though.

To me he's like Tom Hanks, just can't find myself getting emotionally invested in any of the characters he plays. He's reliable but doesn't blow me away with any of the characters he plays.
 
Looking forward to Phillip K Dicks Electric Dreams out this month.
 
Twin Peaks double episode finale tonight. So many questions to be answered. Surely lots will be left unanswered, either that or the door will be left open again...

I watch it but I don't know why I watch it. I don't really enjoy it nor do I get the appeal.

2nd season was a little bit of a let down for me after the first, Mrs Dlions and I loved the first season. Hopefully the 3rd is good.
Dont have Fox so have to wait for it to come out on Netflix although that took ages last time.

For around $35 you can but a season pass on iTunes and get the latest series 3 episode every Tuesday. It screens Monday nights in the northern hemisphere. They email you when the episode lands and there it is sitting in your iTunes library. Nice.
 
New Punisher trailer up. Looks like it could be a good series. Bernthal gets a tough wrap from people, but i like nearly everything he is in. Usually plays the same kind of characters, and i think he is nearly in danger of being type cast. But i've enjoyed him as Punisher, and i've like what Marvel have done with the character so far.

Sure there will be plenty of action, just hope the show doesn't get too bogged down with the suspense and cover up CIA/FBI type stuff. They need to nail the pacing and story. Also, side note, loving Metallica in the trailer, perfect song choice.
 
Poo on the new South Park season. So over politics. Bring back the disgusting kids in ridiculous situations.

Is why Rick and Morty has been so refreshing

Ricky and Morty is just as bad, jut more subliminal. RIP South Park though. Was once something great. Should've called it quits at 'You're getting Old'.

I'd honestly love for Trey and Matt to call it quits on SP right now. Make a BoM movie and then move on to something new.
Doubt Comedy Central shares that though, considering they have **** all outside SP and Tosh.

Love me some rick and morty I'm obviously too stupid to notice the subliminals. That and shameless are the only two things I'm really watching right now.

Shameless is one I feel I've gotta pick up. Seems like US has eclipsed UK, which is gonna be easy with William H. Macy, but I've got nothing to go from aside from a few recommendations. Heart is pulling me to the US adaptation, do I need the British original?

Never watched the British original, US version is fantastic s AFAIK it's a little like the office where for once the US was eclipses the UK version. Great show I'm really enjoying it
