It was great that Chet Desmond's disappearance was acknowledged for the first time. And Sarah Palmer's freakout was epic - what an actress Grace Zabriskie is. So who was making noise inside her house?

The fan noise was creepy, reminded me of fwiw and original tp just before Bob appears.

Grace was awesome in ep12.

I want to know what was happening in Sarah's kitchen. She seems like she might be possessed by a lodge spirit maybe?

Does anyone think the French lady may have been communicating in code, like Lil in FWWM? The reference to the 'sisters daughter', the movements and the long looks Albert and Gordon give each other gave me that vibe. Maybe it was just Lynch being Lynch though.

Yes I was wondering if there was a hidden message there, regarding the French lady. Does anyone remember the opening scenes of fwiw and the lady dressed in red making some weird gestures?

Yes, I do not think this was something like that though.

Although I can see how you might.
More about the Turnip joke.

Atlas in fwwm they answered the weird dance almost immediately - here Lynch was just trolling! Looks like the theme of the entire episode.

Probably a redeeming feature as I really didn't like this episode. Grace Zabriskie was amazing in Inland Empire too (in a 1-minute scene with Laura Dern), did pretty much exactly that.

I'd hate it to be the delivery boy... Judging by the fan and the BOB-like snarling by Sarah, something bad is definitely going down.
that french girl was annoying, im like hurry up and leave. Albert wasnt impressed

.
I wonder who Billy is, and missing for two days. He might be the truck driver that Andy was supposed to meet? (according to some online forums) Also, do you remember the random guy at the diner who screamed "has anyone seen billy?"
Despite all the obfuscation TP17 hasn't duplicated any character names yet (not like Lodge BOB/MIKE and Bobby/Mike from school) so I'd be very surprised if this Billy is different from the earlier Billy. I read a theory that Audrey is still in a coma hence the "can't leave" comments. Not buying yet tho...

IF Audrey is still in a coma (not so sure about that) then Richards dad would have to be Billy Zane.

Weird episode, so much going on that seemed unrelated (the Audrey/Charlie scene in particular). Also what's the deal with Jacoby and Jerry? Where's evil Coop? When will good Coop return? When will Truman, Hawk and Bobby get to LPA? What was going on in Sarah's kitchen? Fan indicates the presence of a lodge spirit. E-lec-tri-city.

And what's the deal with Diane? Let's rock? What haven't they asked her? Where Cooper is?

In retrospect funny what we all went through watching that scene. Epic how frustrating it was, we just wanting to find out anything that makes sense to us of the characters they talking about and we think when he gets off the phone some info will be passed on both for Audrey and us as viewers. But no, after a long scene Audrey words exactly what we thinking and at the level of frustrating we all must have felt. "You are not going to tell me anything are you?"
So ****ing cruel. The scene with the woman friend of Gordon, tear your hair out stuff ... ha ha.
Previous episode they tormented us mercilessly with the woman honking the car horn forever for no ****ing sensible reason. That was driving me bonkers as much as if it was happening in real life and real time as we viewed and listened. Curious what the reason is for so many scenes recently that are created in a bewildering fashion on purpose it would seem. Guess I will find out in later parts.
Three movies worth of it still to go.
Sense a crazy amount of shit is coming in next few parts.

My sense is whatever Charlie got told on phone involved finding out Richard might have been involved in hit and run of child on the road with the stolen truck. We do not know as yet how much they know of the local police knowledge about Richard but they may know Richard stole it.

Get this feeling Audrey is estranged from Richard and maybe even the rest of her family.
Maybe she even had a restraining order in past on her own son and wants nothing to do with him as an adult.

Be interesting if Audrey still keeps in touch with her father.
If Audrey is still living in Twin Peaks and seems she is given she wanted to goto roadhouse was odd the sheriff went to the grandfather of Richard Horne and not the mother Audrey but if she had a restraining order on Richard it would make a lot of sense.

Restraining order? Very unlikely, seems like she has left her old life from twin peaks and it's just odd that her dad did not mention Audrey or contact her about Richard. Whatever the situation, that was just a weird scene and conversation.
So far, all we know is that his dad wasn't never around.

One last clue from Lynch: The film “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me,” he says, is very important to understanding what’s coming May 21.

I think the blue rose and what that means in terms of FBI cases will find out more about.
Not sure whatever happened to Chris Isaak character.

We had Special Agent Chester Desmond go missing when he was at Carl's Fat Trout Trailer Park when he was re-visiting there looking at a ring Teresa Bank had before she was murdered by Leland Palmer, a year before he killed his own daughter Laura Palmer with the same ring on her.

Surely Chris Isaak character will show up soon too.
Did he get stuck in the Black Lodge like Coop too, but before Coop....

still in a coma? i doubt it. Though interesting that Ben hasn't even mentioned Audrey yet
I'd hate that to be a plotline, such a cliched plot, Lynch is much better than that.
Interesting Chet confirmed as a real agent, heard some theories he was a projection/dream version of Cooper.
Can't say I've heard of that one! Interesting take.
Evil Coop might be heading to twin peaks, note the last scene with the guy talking about some crazy driver.
Plus his hand started trembling, last time we saw someone's hand tremble something was about happen...
That end part (like the rest of ep12) drove me nuts. I'd think it's another throwaway scene but Scott Coffey (Trick) is a long-time Lynch collaborator, he wouldn't be there for zero reason. I'm *itching* to find out.

"You're not gonna tell me what she said?!" says the entire audience!
Wouldn't surprise me if Audrey was on the set of "Invitation to Love"! Lynch tried that troupe in Inland Empire...

Re: coma theory... Exactly it's a tired plot line and I can't imagine Lynch going down that part.

After re watching Audrey's scene, it appears like a stage set up, especially how she was introduced. Now we have to wait until Monday... Long wait.

It is such a long wait. I just want to watch the whole thing. Weekly parts is a killer.
Almost wish had not watched any so far and watched the whole 18 hours on a weekend after it all streamed in early September.
