The nuclear test in episode 8, the gas station full of woodsmen, obviously that's the place where Cole/Albert/etc were in tonight's episode.

I think that was in New Mexico. Gordon and Albert are in South Dakota.

That was such a great ep. The formerly crazy old lady thanking Mr Jackpots as the pianist played the classic TP music...my heart.

When Cole was staring into the vortex the sound was the "whooping" sound the Little Man From Another Place said he sounds like, that sort of windy echoing/vibrating sound.

What do you think the symbol on Hawks map was about, the one Truman asked about and Hawk said "you don't want to know about that". It looked like an insect or something. And the black fire made me think of a nuclear blast for some reason, is it representative of the dirty/woodsmen creatures?

Who was the guy Shelly was with? I saw someone said it was "Red" was he one of evil Coops sidekicks from earlier in the series? I couldn't recall him

Red is guy who is supplying drugs and working with Richard.

Also that symbol probably represents the woodsmen? That symbol was shown early on by bad Coop.

The pianist was Angelo Badlamenti - Mr Twin Peaks score himself. Nice to see him get some screen time. The whole 3 seasons wouldn't have been the same without him.
Music was by him but that wasn't him on screen. Looks nothing alike. Angelo did play the menacing gangster at the start of Mulholland Dr.

Great scene! Is the old Dale coming back soon?

When he said "damn good" that was Dale! He was awake for one second then dragged back into Dougie psyche

The way Candie spoke about the traffic, her voice, her mannerisms, it was a replica of the way Naomi Watts and/or Janey-E acts.

Candie might another Dougie like clone, it's interesting now that she has met him.

Bobby is becoming my new favourite character, poor guy was so heartbroken when shelley ran to red.

It's interesting that Bobby has had more screen time than the biker dude from the original series, James.
Also, in that link I posted earlier, Donna Hayward makes an appearance (as the recast actress from FWWM not the original one).

Was James part of the boys club that log lady mentioned in the last episode, telling Hawk he can trust these guys? Also, Ed was part of the group so we might see him soon.

It's great to see bobby grow up, I used to find him so annoying.

It was pointed out on other sites that Donna's sister was the one hiding with Becky's husband...

I just remember James (old) shown in one of the first one or two episodes of this current season, at the Bang Bang Bar. He was standing there pouting with a male friend and one of the girls from his past noticed him "he's a strange guy" and that was that.

I think Shelley said he was cool but hasnt been the same since his accident??

I'm sure we'll see him again soon now that the series is focusing on twin peaks

With Becky's husband was Gersten Hayward indeed! Didn't see that coming.

Shelly went out to smooch him when she's dealing with a daughter issue. Not classy!
Unbelievable, they were having a family meeting and she just ran off. Norma didnt look happy, Shelly hasn't' learnt from her mistakes always dating the bad guys.

Norma is the on screen representation of the audience - approving when Bobby was good to Becky, frowns when Shelly runs off. She's almost prompting how the audience should react!

Yes, that's a great way to describe Norma as her dialogue has been limited so far.

About to fly back from Melbourne (yeah Dogs) and can't wait for tonight's episode! Stan's Facebook page has already spoiled it for me tho with a picture of a big inclusion...

You should know by now to avoid social media on Mondays lol

wow she's back, and wth her husband!

What's going on with Diana?

My socmed feed is generally pretty good didn't think Stan would spoil it for me! She seems to live in a totally different universe, almost nothing they said in that dialogue had been heard elsewhere (except for Billy).

This episode really tested people's patience. The Gordon with the French girl scene, Audrey/Charlie. I reckon Lynch is trolling his audience

that french girl was annoying, im like hurry up and leave. Albert wasnt impressed

.
I wonder who Billy is, and missing for two days. He might be the truck driver that Andy was supposed to meet? (according to some online forums) Also, do you remember the random guy at the diner who screamed "has anyone seen billy?"

Sarah Palmer, freaky ominous violin sound playing as she loses her shit out in public shopping, freaky ceiling fan, Chet Desmond finally mentioned, Audrey Horne finally seen, Richard Horne on the run and known to be the attacker of Miriam and hit and run driver of kid on the road, Chantal apathy towards torture increasing and something Gordon and Albert know that they not asked Diane is important.

Some serious weird shit going to go down. Lots of paths are going to converge real soon.
Horne family, Palmer family, Briggs family, Johnson family, Truman family and 2 Coops cannot escape it.

It was great that Chet Desmond's disappearance was acknowledged for the first time. And Sarah Palmer's freakout was epic - what an actress Grace Zabriskie is. So who was making noise inside her house?
