Interesting video allegedly shows one of the drones close up

I took a screen grab of the section that shows the close up. If you watch the vid this drone is clearly a terrestrial craft with red wingtip lights and flashing lights.

I haven't seen any updates about the alleged crashed drone. Many of the vids I have seen purporting to be the 'drones' are aircraft and on one occasion reflections on glass. There seems to be a good deal of hysteria over this event. To my mind the most likely explanation is they are USN drones. Why?
1. They are near a naval base
2. They are described coming from the sea
3. US authorities seem unconcerned
4. No extraordinary manoeuvres.

No one claiming them, larger than normal drones that hobbyists fly, none registered by the FAA, they are now shutting down airport runways, nobody seems to know what’s going on..
In this day and age.. come on..

They were spotted over airbases in the UK/Ireland not long before these sightings in the US. They to be the airbases where they (someone, probably) reckon the US store their nuclear warheads.

This is already starting to disappear from the news channels.

Typical. I start to get my head around something vaguely interesting just as it starts to die out.

Could it be Elon Musk sending up his technically advanced fleet of drones to test which branches, if any, of the US govt will act with authority when dealing with the drones.

Those that sit idly by and do nothing are thus exposed as ineffective sectors of the govt. They will then have their funding cut by the incoming DOGE.

Doesn't explain the drones appearing in the UK though.
 
Has this rubbish finally stopped? They are planes.

People look up in the sky and see lights. Unfortunately, they don't look up in the sky often, so when they see something they haven't seen before (like planes with landing lights etc), they don't know what they are - and eventually some idiot post about 'foreign drones!" etc, and so people start looking up in the sky more - and guess what? - there's a lot of planes flying around at night (particularly around US airports - very busy airspace).

Even the reporter in the video says at about 50 secs in "it looks like a fixed-wing aircraft' - well done, correct call, no need to say anymore. 10 seconds later, (showing another 'drone''), some other voice says 'Definitely not a plane' - when it quite clearly is.

Mass hysteria has a long history of 'scares'. No surprise it is now appearing (in a small way) in the UK - a country that speaks the same language. They have been spotted in Germany - over US bases, and reported by US workers there.

If I was a 'foreign power' flying drones or other flying machines over another country to 'gather intelligence', then

a) I would not have them showing lights
b) I wouldn't have them showing lights that match night flying and landing light regulations for commercial and/or private planes.

Has 'social media' made a higher proportion of the population complete morons, or were they always out there, and now we can all hear them?

No, clearly not planes, the developments over the past 3-4 years blow that conversation out of the water

They wouldn’t be having press conferences, and having officials monitor the situation, if they were just “planes”. Are government officials who are commenting on the situation also morons?
Are officials at the US department of defence, morons?

This one caught my eye because it is similar to an event I witnessed in 1974 as a teenager.



I've recounted it before somewhere in this forum, but for convivence sake I'll repeat it. My friend and I were walking through Mill st park in Aspendale when we saw two big bright lights, one form the north and one from the south approaching each other at high speed, they slowed and then appeared to fuse together. They then started floating toward the ground in falling leaf motion half a dozen times. When they got close the ground they would then rise up quickly to their starting point. As they did this much smaller red lights appeared to come out of them and disappear into the distance. After about minute or two the two large lights separated and speed off at high speed in opposite directions. We felt no fear while we were watching but after they disappeared we were terrified and ran half a mile home. I have no idea whether they were a few hundred metres away or km's away. Certainly not drones in 1974.

The phenomenon has the ability to morph and imitate anything that exists on Earth.

This has been documented for 50+ years in Dr Karla Turner and John Keel's books, among others.

Some things may have a completely terrestrial appearance, but at the same time, leave no heat signature, and have the ability to enter/ exit the ocean as has been seen with the drones.

It complicates things, and for sceptics, makes it intellectually an impossible hurdle to climb.
