I'm starting to struggle with my picks now. There is still some good players out there but it is getting a lot harder. I'm guessing if you go for an older player and they retire at seasons end, that gives u another draft pick?

Dom Tyson could very well be the steal of the draft, I'm hoping Ben Kennedy could be a steal as well for me.

I remember last year I picked up Chad Wingard with pick 300 odd last year

Pretty happy with Dunstan, didnt realize he was still available, still a few good gets left imo, theres a few guys im hoping last until my next pick! although its unlikely because my pick takes about 30 to get back around!

I wasn't sure on him, but at the end of the day he's best 22, and a reliable player that will play reasonably consistently. A pretty good option as defensive depth.

Best 22 isnt always the best indicator in a keeper league

It is when you're looking for reliable depth - many of the players left will only get games sparsely, and are reasonably inconsistent. With bye rounds and such it's important to have options that you can rely on to take on a role. Take all the youngsters and you'll be left with a team that doesn't have enough players to fill the spots in the bye rounds, or if you get injuries.

It is future thinking though, players who are ready for breakout years have the most draft value in keepers, old players have 0 trade value and spuds who get drafted for depth just cause they play don't help that much during bye rounds anyway
