Wouldn't call Rampe a spud or old - 23 year old that's best 22 in a team vying for the premiership playing a helpful role. Also won Sydney's rising star award last year, so he's clearly rated higher than "spud". I think he'll add something. Pretty much my entire team is geared towards the future anyway - one medium-term consistent depth option isn't going to hurt.

You've got to remember that it's just like the AFL, trade value is key. There is nothing more important than the initial draft so I you draft two-three players who can "breakout" this season, flip them off for a early draft pick next year and you're set for the next few years after that.

Nice pick whoever grabbed Polec. Considered hard for my last pick but a) I'm almost set for midfielders (apart from a couple project guys down the track) and b) I just don't trust him. Could be a serious home run if he continues his pre-season form.

I was agonizing over that pick, couldn't decide between him and Puopolo, two very different players, but Polec's high marking potential got him over the line. Puopolo went a few picks later, was sort of hoping he would slide...

Got to admit I haven't even thought about keepers or what I'm going to do next year, hence my team resembling a geriatric ward. I guess I'm just playing for now and hoping I can trade/draft smartly next year.

haha it took a while to sort them, first by ranking per position and then overall but the list looks alright. it tails off a bit though when it gets to Josh 'the saviour' Prudden

**** man, I took ages and went through every single player left (just like skimming though probably missed a heap) and just chucked the ones i liked to the top, and when I went back up there to sort em properly there was only 3 of them there wasn't happy!
