It was the very definition of a lose/lose situation. We still got more out of that trade than ManU did.

I’m not really sold at all, played well last game but has been poor for a lot of the season too, very mixed bag so far.I was sold on Ceballos when he arrived, they’ve gotta keep him. Quality.

Anyone watched much of Partey? Seems like he’d be the exact thing we need in the middle of the park.

n the summer

Ceballos will play for Betis next year.
Feel like it would possibly be him and Xhaka togetherVery good player but don't expect a defensive monster like Ndidi. Far more of a technical player who is also very capable defensively. Would expect him to play ahead of Xhaka in we plan on playing a 433.
Yep.Terrible player and especially not suited to the PL.
This is an interesting development because initially it seemed He was going to build the team around ArtetaThe “back injury” is probably just a bit of a cover up at the moment to justify Ozil’s absence from the squad. He doesn’t seem to fit into Arteta’s plans and hope he be moved on in the summer. Wages as always are the issue.

That makes more sense but perhaps Ceballos starts instead of Saka too?Sorry didn't explain that very well. Meant to say I think Arteta will play a 433 but in attack the three in midfield will convert to two 10's with one sitting (Xhaka), i.e:
Saka-Partey
Xhaka
So Partey would be playing ahead of Xhaka in terms of position rather than ahead of him in terms of team selection. Also regarding the above Saka could easily be placed in the front three with a different signing playing ahead of Xhaka and alongside Partey.
Despite all the noise around us nothing having much to spend I don't buy it and think we will be very busy in the transfer market.
