**** I hate our defenders. Embarrassing the way they defended their goal but whats worse is watching them in possession of the ball, refuse to play the simple slightly risky ball in favour of kicking it backwards only to then try a hollywood pass that has bugger all chance of coming off.

Bellerin is still the best option in a back 4. AMN and Kolasinac etc do better as wingbacks, with the benefit of an extra centre half province then cover behind them.

Tierney was just about our best last night. Not expecting to go past City in the semi but I said the same thing a few years ago when Alexis got us over the line late on.
