That was magnificent from Arsenal, an excellent away European night. Particularly for the travelling fans.

5-1 and I felt it could’ve been more, this was joyous football at times. Odegaard imperious. Saka and Martinelli a constant threat. Partey probably have his best and most consistent run in his Arsenal career.

Raya with some key moments too. He has a very strong hand when he makes those saves, he keeps them out by not deflecting it back into the danger area. He tips them wide or over the bar. It’s those 1% differences that make all the difference. He’s essential to everything Arsenal are planning to do.

8 goals scored since the restart, and plenty of players back now fighting for places and getting involved with minutes. Some real signs of momentum here for Arsenal. Yes ****ing please.

Outstanding win.

Shame that city seem to be off the rails now. We may have given Liverpool too big a lead to catch. They were fortunate against Southampton so don’t think they have played well recently but they seem to be grinding things out. City doing us a favour is needed this weekend though.

Home to Monaco, home to Zagreb, then away to Girona are the 3 remaining CL fixtures. Without taking anything for granted, Arsenal should very much be aiming for maximum points in those matches to finish in the top 8 of the table.

Hoping it’s just a knock for Gabriel. Bloke is a monster at both ends of the pitch, a real handful for anyone to contend with. The mimic of Gyokeres’ celebration was a nice unexpected piece of shithousery haha.

Would’ve liked another one just to say we’ve hit them for 6 twice in 2024. However that’s not relevant really, the 3 points are. A weirdly fractious match where west ham lost their shit a few times.

Another brilliant performance and boost to GD. Very reminiscent of that turn of the year form where Arsenal went on a run of battering teams and emptying stadiums.

A host of goal scorers once again Saka and Odegaard imperious. Saka is finding more levels to his game which is lovely to see unfold.

More players from the squad being integrated with key minutes, such as all of a sudden Jorginho is back running the midfield.

13 goals scored in a week. United at home next Thursday. More of this please Arsenal, outstanding stuff.

Yes it’s a bit a of a quirk in the fixtures now that travel is going to be limited for the next few weeks. After a lot of tough away fixtures earlier in the season. The key is to lean into the squad which Arteta is doing, as we need to be careful managing the minutes of Timber and Calafiori in particular. There’s a lot of minutes available here.

According to Arteta, both Gabriel and Calafiori were managed, which is comforting to know. Timber has to stay fit while White and Tomiyasu recover. That's a bit of a worry heading into December. Especially if Partey has a niggle too.

Really hope Jesus scores soon. He's such a 'nearly man' at the moment.
