Are Arsenal the Richmond of soccer or something?

So we haven't won the title in 10 years, and we won the FA cup this year.

By the looks of it we need a few backs.

Oi we are the FA Cup Champeens, no more tragedy here only promise and hope.
I'd rather be FA Cup champions than not winning a thing, but I'd much rather be top of the table come May. Or, indeed, European champions (A boy can dream). In any case, I hope to Christ we are actually going to sign a few new players before the new season, so the FA Cup win is a springboard to further greatness and not a one-off.

Newcastle's right back Debuchy will be signed in the next few days.

Start getting excited about us signing Alexis Sanchez, then be shattered when he signs for Juventus. It's the Arsenal way.

That's good then!

By the way everyone is talking we will get Sanchez ?

I was mostly joking. We are famous for looking like we might get a player only for another big team to come in with a big bid and steal the player away.

Juve cannot spend as much as Arsenal unless they sell players.

They have already made 17 million pounds from player sales. I do feel that Sanchez will come to us though.

this is another higuain like pursuit. Will likely end in tears ccoz wenger wont pay an extra couple million.

You talk about yourself in third person.

Speaking of Higuain, wasn't their a deal accepted but then suddenly Real Madrid wanted more than 10 mil euros more?

haha.

Speaking of Higuain. How farken good would he have been for us....

I suspect signings will be part of the kit unveiling on Thursday. Hopefully Sanchez is one of them.

Yep. We had it sorted then Napoli offered 10m on top of ours then Madrid wanted us to match it. We rightly told them to fob off.

I doubt Puma would want their major launch of their new kit partnership to be overshadowed by new signings, unless the signings were sponsored by Puma but neither Debuchy or Sanchez are sponsored by Puma. So I can't see any signings being unveiled, though in saying that Puma would have wanted us to wait on the announcement of any signings so that they could be pictured in the Puma kit.

I even recall his father's comments in the press basically saying the deal was a formality. What a tease that whole saga was.

On the other hand, a new signing is a great way to sell a shitload of kits with a new name on the back.

Time will tell I guess.

Normally I would agree but seeing as its our first shirt unveil with Puma I would imagine fans would want to buy the shirt just for the sake of having the first edition Puma kit.

Fair enough. But never underestimate Arsenal's ability to capatilise on a revenue generating opportunity!

Depends whether or not the fans have to buy the skintight shirt it looks like the players will have as well
Saw something on twitter today saying the shirts that are for sale will be looser fitting than the ones the players wear.

If I had Thierry's rig I'd be getting it as skintight as possible.

Looks like Giroud's six pack has rippled through that top as well. I imagine Mundy would want to sleep with that next to his pillow.
